2009 Procedure Related Photos

Here are a few photos to show the level of intrusion required for this procedure. All except for the “knee before” were taken about 24 hours after the procedure at the first bandage change.

The only site that showed itself worse for wear at anytime after – the site for fat cell extraction (about 5 days post-op).

This is the unloader brace that uses a three point system to align the knee and hold the medial (inside of the leg) space open to remove pressure from the cartilage. The brace is very light and fits underneath my work pants.
